It is produced from the excellent quality goat and sheep milk of the Agrafa region, collected daily by small producers with free-range animals. It is matured in oak barrels and thus acquires the characteristic flavor of “barrel” cheese. The traditional barrel cheese of Karpenisi is tasty, aromatic, nutritious and authentic with its pure white color.
